In collaboration with Buchanan Partners, The Pinkard Group, and Hospitality Partners, Rooney is in the process of planning and redevelopment of 4 acres (currently a surface parking lot) adjacent to the Medstar Washington Hospital Center, Armed Forces Retirement Home and The Catholic University of America in Northeast Washington DC. The property is envisioned for over 750,000 sf of mixed-use development and a significant affordable housing component.
